Artists

Elizabeth Barton

http://www.arches.uga.edu/~ebarton

Who I am and what I do? I make art quilts using fabric I've dyed, painted,
screen printed etc. I sell the work, I'm interested in commissions, teaching
and presentations. I'm from York, UK, but have lived in the US for over 20
years. I have an invasive sense of humour - i.e. laugh when you're "sposed"
not to...I work at a major public university but soon hope to be a full time
artist. My favorite color is lime green (though not in the quilts) and I like
daft socks and cryptic crosswords!

Margaret Cusack http://www.MargaretCusack.com

Margaret Cusack's work is "realism created with stitchery and fabric." You
may have seen her stitched illustrations on greeting cards, decorative
plates, jig saw puzzles, ads, posters, children's books, editorial
illustrations, billboards, and most recently, postage stamps. Cusack also
does portraits and large hangings all in fabric.

Vita Marie Lovett

http://www.vitamarielovett.com

I enjoy the challenge of creating the illusion of rustic wood and peeling paint with thread. That's how my series of "Primitive" doors began. Please visit my online studio!

Paula Nadelstern

http://www.paulanadelstern.com

Paula Nadelstern travels extensively teaching the kaleidoscopic quiltmaking techniques explored in her books, KALEIDOSCOPES & QUILTS and SNOWFLAKES & QUILTS and designs textile prints exclusively for Benartex, Inc.

Jeanne Williamson Ostroff http://www.artquilt.net/

My work incorporates hand printed textures of orange construction fences, which seem to surround construction sites these days, pieces of scrap fabric and hand stamped shapes to create collages in fabric. All of my quilts are all whole cloth quilts, and are machine applique and machine quilted.
