My specialty is creating site-specific, large-scale commissioned works for public, commercial and residential spaces. I work with architects, interior designers, art consultants, galleries, public and private agencies.

I prefer to visit the site, in order to take pictures and get a feel for the space, but I can work from photos, drawings, and blueprints. I need the dimensions of the space, and samples of colors and materials that are used in it. I also like to talk with people who use the space if possible.

If the client likes my style of work and would like me to create a design, I charge a design fee based on the projected price of the work. This fee will be deducted from the final price, but is not refundable. For the design fee, I will create an original design to scale in color, provide a grouping of fabric samples that will be used in the work, and a rendition of what the piece will look like installed in the space.

Once the design is approved by the agent and the client, I request a portion (usually one half) of the price of the piece before starting work. The remainder is due when the piece is delivered. The piece will be ready to install, including a full scale paper model, and installation materials. I can be present when the work is installed. (See "Installing Work")

My prices are currently between $100 - $250 per square foot, depending on the size and complexity of the work. The agent fee depends on the degree of involvement on the agent's part, ranging from finder's fee to gallery representation.
